Teru-Teru Bozu [ XII Science 6 ] is a class comprised of members from 3 classes that are the former XI Science 4, the former XI Science 5 and the former XI Science 9. Why is that happened ? This year exactly Year 2007-2008 is the first year when the former Second Year of Senior High School classes which are passed to the Third Year of Senior High School are divided in to divisions. That’s why Third Year classes are called "the mixed classes".

Why XII Science 6 could be named “Teru-Teru Bozu” ?
The first chosen name for our class was Medulla Oblongata but many of the members ( bozuers) did not agree on the voting day. A few days later when our English Language and Literature teacher, Magenthira asked us question " Which is first? Egg or Chicken? ". This question caused a name occurred. That was " Egg o’ Chicken" but bozuers still disagree with that name. Day by day passed made our class leader, Khendy Liantono did much efforts in choosing the name. Finally there’s way out. Inspired by pandan leaves that we hung on the AC, Khendy thought about the Japanese doll that was hung in order to avoid rainy day, "Teru-Teru Bozu" might be a good name. Great Effort Great Response, "Teru-Teru Bozu" was highly accepted by bozuers. After we had chosen the name of our class, the next step was designing the logo and the mascot.

TERU-TERU BOZU Official Party

On Saturday 27th October 2007 evening many bozuers gathered in Resto Surabaya at Jalan Dr. Cipto No 8 Medan. Hmm..What's going on? That evening would be the most memorable day for the bozuers. Why ? Because it was Teru-Teru Bozu Official Party. Wow, Sounds great !Inside Resto Surabaya, music flowed making it warmth. At the entrance door, there were 2 beautiful young ladies ready to welcome all of the guests. Their name are Juliana and Sylvia Sunar.


In the beginning of this party our MC Kelvin gave a chance to Ben Hendry as our form teacher to give speech then followed up by our class leader, Khendy Liantono. Then they sliced a huge yellow "Teru-Teru Bozu" cake and cut the ribbon as a sign that "Teru-Teru Bozu" had been legitimated. All of bozuers were very proud, they cheered, they gave applause. After that, it's SHOW TIME !! The first performance was karaoke by Eric Wijaya. Besides karaoke, there were games also played by bozuers and teachers. The most interesting part from the games were the consequences when they lose in the games. They were given choices to drink salt milk, blended vegetable juice or to eat chocolate milk tofu with cheese on top. Sounds great that will make you SICK, ha2.

We also congratulated on the rewarding for bozuers and teachers based on the voting.

In the middle of our "eat and drink" party MC Kelvin interviewed the teachers about their experiences being in our class. Most of them said anything great about us, ha2 ( They must be kidding ). MC Kelvin not only interviewed teachers but also bozuers. One of the lucky bozuers was Juliana. When she was asked about her experience in XII Science 6, she answered “…asik lah di kelas ini, kalau cabut tidak dicatat…”, ha2 (you could make Ben Hendry shocked).

Before the party was ended, all bozuers sang a closing song together on the stage. It was “Bukan Bintang Biasa” by BBB. Look at our action below.
